CASTING CALL/PROJECT RISING STAR III ZSIon MEDIA is seeking cast and crew for the shooting of “Free Your Sins”, a musical short for Jubilee productions. The following positions are needed: CREW 1st AD Director of Photography Production Manager: The production manager supervises the physical aspects of the production (not the creative aspects) including personnel, technology, budget, and scheduling. Casting Director: Chooses the actors for the characters of the film by inviting the actors to a practice for the script called an audition. Production Assistants(3): A production assistant assists the first assistant director with set operations. Production assistants, almost always referred to as PAs, also assist in the production office with general tasks. Production Designer: A production designer is responsible for creating the physical, visual appearance of the film - settings, costumes, properties, character makeup, all taken as a unit. Prop Master: The property master, more commonly known as the props master, is in charge of finding and managing all the props that appear in the film. A short film to be shot July 30th on the Red One is in need of a few crew members (experience is a definite plus but not required): Production Assistants (1-2) 1st AD Sound Technicians (2) - preferably with their own gear.  We are wanting to run duel sound with the Red. I am attempting to start a Film Club. It would consist of a bunch of like minded individuals watching a particular movie together or not and getting together to discuss. We would meet for a beer, coffee, or at someones place. Depending on how many people join and when, will determine how soon we get this started.
